3 Dot Bot
This was the bot we used for our project. It was the same bot that we used for our parking space bot. Its a very simple design. It has two motors with two wheels and can easily move left and right to be able to get to the dots.
Portfolio Guide Reflection
1. State the assignment (problem/project) in your own words.
We had to create a bot that would be able to go from the middle dot to the left dot and then the right dot. They also had to all stop in the middle of it.
2. What are your input factors? (What do you need to know or do before you can begin?) Include the research you did.
We needed to know how long it had to move before it got into the middle of each circle. Once we found that out all we needed to do was find how long it had to turn for before it was in line with the other circles.
3. Describe the process in detail. Explain the steps you followed in order to complete the project.
We recreated a simple robot that we had made before. Then we measured how long it took for the bot to get to the center of each circle. Then once we had all the information we had to program it to work. This took a lot of trial and error but it eventually worked.
4. Describe the final output / product in detail: (what are we looking at?)
We looked at a bot that was almost exactly the same as our parking space bot, which was very simple and easy to have maneuver.
5. Describe feedback you received during the project (suggestions, comments, etc). From peers, instructor ect.. How did you use this feedback to correct issues with your project?
We got feedback saying to change how long our bot would move for. It helped us with the program and eventually got our bot to work.
6. What did you learn during the assignment such as tools, skills, design concepts, software, hardware, etc?
We learned how to use the distance app but after that everything we did was stuff we did before.
7. If you were to do the project again, what would you do differently and why? Provide reasons and examples
I would try and make the bot even more simpler and easier to move to make it easier on ourselves.

Unfortunately we were not able to get a video to this bot.
