Line and Shape
Reflection
I mainly took these pictures around my house using different vehicles and other items at my house, with the exception of the railroad tracks. The photos that i took mainly focus on different lines. The first picture is from underneath a table on my patios looking up at an umbrella, the second is from my fireplace in my backyards, the third is my car, a Volkswagen GTI, the fourth is from the side of my dads corvette, the fifth is from a train station down the road from my house, and the sixth is from the tire of my dads truck. I mainly took these pictures from close up angles so I could focus on the details of the lines and shapes. The only one that I took from far away was the one of the railroad tracks. Most of these photos were also taken straight on, with the exception of the first one which was taken from underneath my table looking up. All of the photos except for the first are taken horizontal, the first was taken vertically. I took the rule of thirds into consideration when I took the photo of my Volkswagen. I tried to get the emblem within the rule of thirds. I believe that the first picture has a dynamic composition that leads the viewers eye's through the work. The shapes in front catch the attention of the viewer and the lines in the background help to lead the eyes through the work.
