Reflection
One of these images that shows a fast shutter speed is the first one of Brett mid-flight. This photo was taken using a shutter speed of 1/800. The ISO used for this picture was 640 and the white balance was cloudy. I used the S setting on the camera since it allowed me to adjust the shutter speed. We froze Brett in motion as he was "flying". Our distance was close and the point of view was straight on. Brett's body is at about a third of this picture following the rule of thirds which makes this picture better. One of these images that shows a slow shutter speed is the picture all the way to the right in the bottom row. We used a slow shutter speed to capture this image and used a white balance of cloudy since it was the same day we captured the fast shutter speed pictures and it was level of brightness. We again used the S setting on the camera so we could adjust the shutter speed. The motion of Brett moving and Jake jumping in the air are what show blur. Everything else in the image is not very blurry. Our distance was fairly close and we shot this using a straight on point of view. Jake is at a third which again follows the rule of the thirds.
