Reflection
I chose to use pictures of items from around the school that caught my eye. The first photo that I took was of a strange looking item that I found on the ground. It's texture caught my eye and made me want to take a picture of it. The second one was just a simple picture of grass with dew on it. The next one is some of the pines on a pine tree. The fourth is the shadow of a chain link fence. The fifth is a hose that was coiled up and tangled, and the last one is a cup of spoons that show repetition. All of these shots are close-ups except for the fourth one which is just a shot from a normal distance. All of these shots were taken straight on with the exception of the last one which was taken from above to show more repetition and texture. All of these photos are horizontal. I also considered the rule of thirds in my shots, which is visible in the first picture. The strange substance is roughly at about a third of the picture. I would say that the fifth picture is the most dynamic and successfully leads the viewers eye through the work. I believe this because the hose shows repetition and flow, and is the only thing in the picture that catches the viewers eye.
